Pima cotton which is extra long staples only grown in some parts of the world(Peru, Egypt and South of America) where the climate conditions allow the development of this unique fiber. Pima is the name of the Indians which originally grew this cotton plant. Pima Cotton is only 3% of the worlds total cotton production and less than 1% is judged to be good enough to carry the name.
